Jones approaches stained glass as a painter and has the skill and knowledge of both media to succeed. He is particularly adept at denying the limitations of glass as an artistic medium. The subtle modulations of color his designs require can only be created by painstaking acid etching and carefully applied shading of fired paint. He has worked closely with Derix to produce his work in glass.
